Meeting friends and wearing costumes

An anime convention is an event or gathering with a primary focus on anime, manga and japanese culture. Commonly, anime conventions are multi-day events hosted at convention centers, hotels or college campuses. They feature a wide variety of activities and panels. Anime conventions are also used as a vehicle for industry, in which studios, distributors, and publishers represent their anime related releases.

For me as a cosplayer an anime convention is a possibility to wear my costumes on which I worked so hard for a long time. But visiting a convention also means to meet my friends who live all throughout Germany. I normally meet them only when I'm visiting a convention. During summer it can be that every month there is a meeting, sometimes more.

I'm also visiting mediaval markets and festivals in Germany because I like the music and clothing style. There are some galleries of these here as well. ^^
